This 3rd release by Eskimo is a 4 track EP entitled ‘Benzoyl Peroxide’.

Musically, the record is different from his previous releases as it is much slower with a distinct sombre ambience throughout the tracks. Abstract electronic sounds are still present but they are now mixed with acoustic and quiet sounds layered on top of each other to create a dense mass, with the backbeat taking less predominance.

The chief influence of the music came from old sixties and seventies thriller film soundtracks and how music and visuals were more integrated with each other in the context of interludes and passages.

The music is a tribute to these old soundtracks and films and also the mixing techniques Eskimo used to do when making mixtapes. Online orders will include a free analogue mixtape of some of his favourite records.
